Our roof mounted systems do not need planning permission unless the property is a listed building or in a conservation area. We will provide advice and relevant documentation about this.
Most roofs are strong enough to take a solar installation without any reinforcement. We will assess this during the survey process and perform windload calculations to ensure the integrity of the building structure.
We will agree an installation date with you in writing. A few days before this date, in most cases, we will arrange for scaffolding to be erected to enable easy access to the rooftop. We will also purchase the components on your behalf.
